New Single: Sex In The City. Cody Kahmar was born in the suburbs just outside of Philadelphia, he has been inspired to sing since forever. Growing up around the Philadelphia area gave Cody an opportunity to become well-rounded and experience a different lifestyle than most, becoming exposed to cultures of all types. Music was always a key to that multi-cultural awareness. “My influences have such a big range. I love big haired bands like White Snake and Poison, R&B acts like Dru Hill, Boyz II Men, and Usher. I really like pop and rock. Paramore and Incubus are two of my favorite more modern bands. I also really like hip-hop and R&B artists like Lil’ Wayne and Drake.” But an artist by the name of Frank Ocean is likely his biggest influence to date.
